Miners Museum
We took a drive from Glooscap to Springhill, NS to visit the Anne Murray Museum and it was worth the trip. There is also a Mining Museum and a ride inside one of the mines, but we were too late getting there to take advantage of it.Here are a few photos of what we did see
Story of Mine Collapse of Oct 1958. Miners were trapped underground for 8 days

Anne's Museum was a real pleasure to stroll through. There was so many accolades and awards on display that she received it was difficult to keep them straight.I believe she won every award available and many of them were duplicates and triplets and a couple she had won many, many times. One of her Canadian Awards she won thirty times. My photos are but a few of what I could have taken.
Her music was played throughout our visit and I believe they had every on of them lined up. Most that we heard were the ones that were platinum or equal. She was the first Canadian to earn a gold and a platinum record and first voted in for a Grammy.
