2016-03-16 Kroathunkoolong Heritage Museum, Bairnsdale, Australia

The  Kroathunkoolong Keeping Place, i.e.   Heritage  Museum, pays honor the the Aborigine Nation  of the same name and displays the history of the white man's corrupt ways of taking the land belonging to them. Much the same as the plight of the American Indian. White people move in with their cattle and sheep and pushes the Aborigine out. The government constantly ruled against them until they had nothing. Sound familiar?

The artifacts displayed were authentic and had been restored as needed for display. Special permission was given to take photographs. Some photos were taken through glass and may not be clear.

It is one of the more interesting museums we have toured. There are so many different nations of Aborigines  and each one have their own and different ways of life and each one is separate from the other. Their history if fascinating. I wish I could have photographed more.
