2015-07-02 St Johns, Newfoundland

We  arrived today from a layover in North Sydney, NS on the 30th. Our ferry departed at 1730 on July 1st and arrived here at 10:00 this morning. The ride was smooth all the way, just a minimum vibration or rolling. The loading went well and the dinner was just great. Buffet style with Roast Beef, Salmon, Ham and all the trimmings  as well as numerous desserts.

We elected a cabin so as to get some rest overnight since the trip was going to be 17 hours. The bed was hard and my back suffered from it, but otherwise it was OK. I think overeating was part of the problem as well. Boomer stayed in the motor home and he did just fine but was really happy to see us this morning.

We will be here for three days, or  longer, and will be adding pictures to the next blog.

We stopped in New Brunswick and had some of the best bar-b-que at this road stop

We love our friendly neighbor to the north, Canada!
